Marianna Skartsari – Visual Artist

My name is Marianna Skartsari. I am a visual artist based in Greece, born and raised in Athens. I studied decoration, photography, graphic and web design, and worked as an Art Executive at VOGUE Hellas. I am a self-taught painter and sculptor. My artworks are full of energy, vibrant colors, passion, and a deep joy for life. Art is my true love.

My Inspiration
“I draw inspiration from the coastal paradise of Greece — its strength, beauty, and tranquility. Through my work, I aim to channel the energy of the sea and share it with the viewer.”
Living by the sea has been a lifelong love affair that has deeply influenced my resin-based, aerial-inspired art.

My Process
My medium is a unique combination of art resin, pigments, sand, and acrylics. Each piece is made with multiple layers, giving it depth and dimension. Every artwork is one of a kind, entirely handmade, and signed either on the front or the side.

2019

 In July 2019 I organized my first exhibition at the Parliament of Nafplio.

2021
Virtual Exhibition “New Era”  15 Dec 2020 – 05 Jan 2021
I participated in the international online exhibition organized by Art Number 23. The exhibition features selected artists from around the world. Art Number 23 is a London-based organization, with two physical exhibition spaces in London and Athens.

2022
In July & September 2022 I participated in the international exhibition organized by the Gallery ”Time of Art”, Kifisia, Athens.

2023 – Participation in a Group Art Exhibition in New York
